December 21, 2011 - TWGS 2.15 patch released.
TWGS v2.15 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. This update fixes a problem with Bigbang hanging on startup, and a few other issues.
December 16, 2011 - TWGS 2.14 patch released.
TWGS v2.14 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. This update increases stability, and fixes a bug that allowed a player to force another player out of the game. A new screen for report management has been added, and additional report settings to help prevent data mining.
October 24, 2011 - TWGS 2.13 patch released.
TWGS v2.13 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. A major bug was discovered in v2.12, so v2.13 has been released with the fix. Extern will crash on any mail file with greater than 1000 messages. I highly recommend installing v2.13 as soon as you can.
October 23, 2011 - TWGS 2.12 patch released.
TWGS v2.12 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. This fixes a major game bug that caused players to drop from prompts when other players moved into or out of the sector, as well as a very mysterious TWGS hang bug. Also, a Gold editor was added for viewing and modifying active Gold aliens.
October 3, 2011 - TWGS 2.11 patch released.
TWGS v2.11 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. Not a major update, but the biggest issue is a bug that can cause TWGS to repeatedly run TW2002.exe to generate the stats file, pegging the CPU to 100%.

September 8, 2011 - TWGS 2.10 patch released.
TWGS v2.09 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. This fixes a bug created in v2.08 where players will drop from the planet to the sector whenever the planet moves.
September 7, 2011 - TWGS 2.09 patch released.
TWGS v2.09 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. It's a minor maintenance update, to fix a bug with the CPU count setting in the Config screen. But it also includes many enhancements to simplify running TWGS as a service.
September 6, 2011 - TWGS 2.08 patch released.

Aug 4, 2011 - New game details page!
The game details page has been re-structured to look more like the "S" settings screen, and Microbot is now parsing all 119 data fields from the new XML game settings feature added in TWGS 2.05
July 17, 2011 - TWGS 2.07 patch released.

July 8, 2011 - TWGS 2.06 patch released.
Another update already!? TWGS v2.06 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. Not much happening with this update, but JP fixed a major ping/latency bug that was making the game unplayable for some players on some systems.
July 6, 2011 - TWGS 2.05 patch released.
TWGS v2.05 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. This release fixes a gold alien bug that was causing aliens to avoid attacking players who would qualify as FedSafe, even if they're not in FedSpace and enhanced support for accessing game data.

June 18, 2011 - TWGS 2.03 patch released.
TWGS v2.03 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. The main issue was a bug with the activation screen not letting you skip past it. Should be fixed now. Also added a "maxed out" order option.
June 16, 2011 - Microbot parsing error fixed.
You may have noticed some partial ANSI color sequences (i.e. "1;32m") attached to some of the data fields. This was caused by an error in the way Microbot was handling split data packets. "Turns per day" is one of the fields Microbot was parsing incorrectly. This has now been resolved, and these characters will be removed the next time each server is updated.
June 14, 2011 - TWGS 2.02 patch released.
TWGS v2.02 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. The log viewer has been enhanced to handle large files better. Fixed a bug that was causing TWGS and the TW executables to be flagged as tampered applications by virus software.
June 10, 2011 - TWGS 2.01 patch released.
TWGS v2.01 is available for download at http://www.eisonline.com/downloads. I've addressed several bug reports, including inability to install on Windows 7 even when logged in as an administrator, inability to install with less than 32 bit color, inability to bang games, and an RLogin issue.
June 5, 2011 - TWGS 2.00 released!!!
The 25th Anniversary edition of TradeWars was released today. All features, including TWGS, TW 2002 and Gold, are fully functional in the free base package. You can download it from EIS Online:

Don't forget to activate Jumpgate when you upgrade. Jumpgate is the new list of active TWGS servers, but it's still in early development. For now, it's just a basic list to show who's running a server, but there's a lot more JP wants to do with this site once people start using it. jumpgate.classictw.com
